The Navy Visual News Service (NVNS) provides dedicated
resources to promote the public image of the U.S. Navy, as the Navy's
dedicated visual information service bureau. Using state of the
art systems, NVNS captures and distributes the very best photojournalism
and motion media products produced by the fleet, in an effort to
tell the U.S. Navy's story to internal and external (DOD), domestic,
and international audiences. This 24/7 electronic operations center
is located in the offices of the Chief of Navy Information (CHINFO)
in the Pentagon. Infra-Structures custom designed, manufactured
and installed efficient, ergonomic workstations and rolling equipment
carts for 4 video editing suites, 1 server control center, and 5
still photography workstations, with a matching conference area
to provide an efficient, polished, and attractive physical environment
that matched the latest technology and sophisticated broadcast equipment
operated by a top-notch, professional staff.
