The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services selected Saint Barnabas Hospital as the location for its prototype Medical Coordination Center (MCC), a command and control facility utilized by emergency personnel during an epidemic or disaster occurring in the northeastern U.S. With a very aggressive schedule, Infra-Structures designed and constructed the MCC to include a complete interior renovation with mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, custom furnishings, and integrated electronic display systems that facilitate collaboration with regional emergency personnel, and light construction including acoustic ceilings and raised floors.
